Put YouTube On PSP Tutorial
Download YouTube Videos to PSP
Putting YouTube videos on to a PSP can be a tricky task, so I'm going to make this of relative ease for you.
What you'll need:
- A USB cable to connect your PSP to your PC.
- A memory card to put your YouTube videos on.
First visit YouTube.com and locate the video you want to put onto your PSP. Just above the embed code and under the description box there is a URL box. Copy the URL from the box by highlighting it and pressing "CTRL + C" on your keyboard. Next head over to TubeBubble.com and paste the video into the main form box.
Select MP4 from the drop down list and click "Download". On the next page there will be another "Download" button, right click it and select "Save Link As...".
Once you downloaded the file onto your PC or Laptop connect your PSP via USB. Your PSP will be recognised as a removable disk. Go to My Computer -> Removable Disk and create a folder called 'MP_ROOT' and open it. Then create another folder named '100MNV01' and copy your movies into it. You have to rename the MP4 files into the format 'M4V0000.MP4' and 00000 can be any number, however cannot contain any alphabetic characters as files named with alphabetic characters in place of 00000 will not play.
You can now remove your PSP from the system by right clicking the Safely Remove Hardware icon in taskbar next to the system clock and selecting 'STOP' on your PSP's connection to the system.
